Self-portrait
Immersed in the world of architecture and design, I enjoyed the aesthetics of forms and the combination of textures and materials, a variety of styles. I love being involved in creating something new and beautiful. However, architecture has never been just about planning, zoning, materials, or structures, but it was always about creating an expression for users, satisfying their needs, and responding to the context. I really enjoy getting feedback from people I have designed for. I think that the beauty this profession holds is the impact that it creates on human lives. Moving into a new apartment or making repairs, people often say that they are starting a new life. At such moments, you understand what a huge responsibility a designer has and it becomes even scary, but when a client is satisfied with the result and enjoys his new space, this is indescribable emotions and motivation to continue creating. Speaking about future realization in this profession, I see myself as an interior designer, not an architect.
It is very difficult to name one favorite architect. Speaking about worldwide architects, it is Zaha Hadid. She created architectural geometry that went beyond the generally accepted canons, with incredibly expressive, distorted geometry. I like that her creations are a call to understand and realize the modern world, its diversity and constant change, moving forward. On Instagram, I follow the work of a Russian architect - Alexander Nerovnya. He designed a number of houses and placed them in carefully chosen environments, modern houses in the middle of nature. Nerovnya selects the ambiance as accurately and fairly as possible to insert his constructions in a variety of contemporary shapes and materials.
